Terms of Use

Effective August 20, 2026

Agreement

By downloading or using MementoReel, you agree to these Terms of Use and Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these terms conflict with Apple’s standard EULA, Apple’s standard EULA controls.

What MementoReel provides

MementoReel lets you import photos, videos, and audio; organize movie projects inside Collections; arrange and preview a timeline; trim, split, crop, and frame media; mix a soundtrack with original video audio; and save or share rendered movies.

Your media and responsibilities

You must have the right to use, edit, and share the photos, videos, and audio you select. You are responsible for reviewing each crop, trim, split, soundtrack, volume, resolution, and export destination before saving or sharing it. Respect copyright, privacy, publicity, music-licensing, and other rights when using MementoReel.

Free use and watermark

MementoReel’s movie creation, editing, saving, previewing, and reopening features are available without starting a trial or purchasing a subscription. Videos exported while Premium access is inactive include a visible MementoReel watermark.

MementoReel Premium

MementoReel offers an auto-renewable annual subscription that removes the MementoReel watermark from exported videos. Eligible new subscribers may receive a seven-day free trial. The price, currency, trial eligibility, and renewal terms displayed by Apple at the time of purchase apply.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account after purchase confirmation.
  • The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Apple may charge the renewal price within 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting MementoReel does not cancel a subscription.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial may be forfeited when a subscription is purchased, where applicable.
  • Refund eligibility and billing disputes are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies.

Availability and output

Previewing, thumbnail generation, rendering, available resolution, export time, and output quality may vary with source media, device performance, iOS version, available memory, and storage. MementoReel does not guarantee that every source file or third-party destination will support every requested operation or output.

Local data and backups

MementoReel stores editable projects and imported working copies locally. You are responsible for maintaining originals and any backups you need. Removing a project, Collection, app, or device data may make local work unrecoverable. Original items in your Photos library are not deleted when a MementoReel project is removed.

Third-party services

Apple, iCloud Photos, the system file picker, and any destination selected from the iOS share sheet are independent services governed by their own terms and privacy practices. MementoReel is not responsible for their availability, storage, or handling of exported files.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, MementoReel is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. We are not liable for lost local projects, unavailable source files, unexpected crops, incompatible exports, lost profits, or indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes and termination

Features and these terms may be updated over time. Continued use after revised terms take effect means you accept them. You may stop using MementoReel at any time; active subscriptions must be canceled separately through Apple.
