How can we help?

Find answers about importing media, editing the timeline, mixing audio, exporting movies, and MementoReel Premium.

Does MementoReel change my original photos or videos?

No. MementoReel imports a local working copy and records edits such as trim boundaries, split points, crops, ordering, and volume without modifying the original item in your Photos library.

How do I trim or split a video?

Select a video in the project timeline. Trim uses start and end markers and shows the corresponding frame while you move either boundary. Split opens a single cut-point timeline and creates two virtual clips that continue to reference the same source.

How do I crop a portrait or landscape clip?

Open Crop for the selected photo or video. Pinch with two fingers to zoom and drag to position the media inside the project frame. The crop preview shows what the movie will include.

Can I add music without losing the original video sound?

Yes. Add a soundtrack, then use the audio mixer to adjust soundtrack and original video volume independently. Either source can also be muted.

Which export resolutions are available?

MementoReel exports HD 720p, Full HD 1080p, and Ultra HD 4K for landscape, portrait, and square projects. Higher resolutions require more time and storage.

Why is there a MementoReel watermark?

Every editing feature is available for free. Videos exported without active Premium access include a visible MementoReel watermark. An eligible trial or paid Premium subscription removes it.

How do I restore Premium or cancel the subscription?

Open the Premium screen and choose Restore Purchases to refresh an existing entitlement. To manage or cancel, open iPhone Settings, tap your Apple Account name, choose Subscriptions, and select MementoReel. Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription.

Does MementoReel upload my media?

No. Imported photos, videos, audio, project settings, thumbnails, previews, and exports are processed locally. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
